Presentation of Albanian Centre for Energy Regulation and Conservation - ACERC

Acerc is a think tank centre with focus in Albania energy market and its integration on Regional & Iem. The Acerc mission aim to provide a qualified contribution to the promotion of the liberalization and the effective integration as well as the efficient use of energy resources.
The main activities profiles briefly consists in the release reports, articles and periodicals. In cooperation also with our partners the offering of the activities that support capacity building of market actors, such as national and regional seminars, trainings and conferences. Initiatives completed by advocating in the energy sector to promote a forum called in Albanian School of Regulation.

Energy Lecture: Basics of Energy


Energy Academy Europe is proud to announce the kick-off of
the new academic year with the Energy Lecture “Basics of Energy” on the 1st of

This Energy Lecture goes back to the core of the topic
‘sustainable energy’, making the topic more tangible and providing you with a
broad basic knowledge. You will increase your understanding on what energy is
all about, and how great the challenge of the energy transition really is. Of
course, the Energy Lecture will be interactive, as you will get the chance to
ask questions, tackle problems and discuss.

The lecture will be given by Frans Debets. He is involved in
many projects on bio energy, green energy and landscapes. For more information,

ACER-CEER Bridge to 2025 – One Year Anniversary 24th September 2015

ACER and CEER are holding a joint event to mark the one year
anniversary of the presentation of the ‘Energy Regulation: A Bridge to 2025’
paper, which we launched on 23 September 2014.

This year’s event represents the continuation of ACER’s and
CEER’s dialogue with stakeholders, consumers and other energy actors on key
aspects relevant to the delivery of the Energy Union strategy. The event will
be divided into five sessions:

Towards Energy Union: Understanding how ‘the Bridge’ helps
to pave the way

Delivering the new electricity market design and gas liquid
markets – two case studies

Retail energy markets: Delivering a new deal for energy
consumers in Europe

The Future governance and engaging with stakeholders

Concluding remarks: Delivering the Energy Union through
